Grounded Discipleship Program
In 2026 we are launching our new Grounded in the Truth Discipleship Program at GBCC. This gap year program is designed for young adults between the ages of 18-25 years who are interested in spending up to 12 months serving in various capacities at GBCC, while also participating in Bible studies and other discipleship opportunities. Our desire is to provide a year for you to deepen your faith, develop your gifts and gain experience and an increased knowledge in various areas of SERVICE, SCRIPTURE, and SKILLS to help you navigate life as you enter adulthood.
The year will include serving practically in all aspects of camp from maintenance, housekeeping to food services. You will be encouraged to take the leadership during some of our own programs and help host our numerous guests throughout the year. You will also be involved in regular Bible studies, book studies and mentoring relationships focussed on helping you develop and grow a Biblical Worldview. The goal is to for you deepen your knowledge of God, strengthen your gifts and skills, and “ground you in faith, love and the truth of God’s Word, equipping you for faithful service” as we work together to complete the mission at GBCC of “building up the household of faith.”
