What if I or my child is sick?

For the health and safety of our guests and staff, we kindly ask that if anyone is ill and has exhibited the following symptoms in the last 24 hours (fever, vomiting, diarrhea), they do not attend your event. If symptoms occur while visiting, we must be informed immediately, and they must isolate for at least 24 hours after final symptoms or if possible, go home. They will be refunded for the remaining balance of their stay.

Lounge – What does it mean by meetings?

The Lounge is not to be used as a meeting space or to conduct announcements. Since we often have multiple groups renting our facilities at a time and staff that break, we have designated the lounge as a common space open to any guest at any hour of the day. Though we understand it is a cozy spot to relax in for a small group to pray, run discussion, or present, we do not want to make any of our guest or staff feel uncomfortable to enjoy the lounge or even walk through and feel that they are interrupting or disturbing. Please keep these group meetings to your designated meeting space.

Are there coffee and tea available?

Yes! We have a coffee and hot water machine located in the lounge by the windows around the corner of our Grounded Store. Milks and creams will be found in the fridge. Paper cups, lids, sugars, and tea bags are supplied. There is also a coffee and hot water station available in the dining hall during meal hours.

Can we bring food?

Yes, but to abide with our health code regulations it must be commercially made foods (food that is ready to eat from a grocery store or ordered from a restaurant). Outside food can not be home-made and brought in or cooked here at camp. Any sort of portable burner or heat source cannot be used – this breaks both our fire code and health codes.

Examples of items you could bring: chips, salsa, fruit, croissants, granola bars, etc.

Examples of items you should not bring: Homemade baked goods, a Lasagna bought at the store but cooked at home, homemade casseroles, etc.

If we’re a rental group, when do you need our information by?

We require group’s information 1 week before the retreat date. Please be mindful that since we are a facilities that host multiple groups each weekend, we need sufficient time to turn-over our rooms/meeting spaces as well as carry out our regular responsibilities. Our kitchen orders food specific to the number of upcoming so once our food order is sent in we cannot adjust it.

Soundboard/AV Setup?

We encourage groups to bring their own equipment for set-up. We do have projectors for our Auditorium and Fireside room. We have a few microphones that can be used for the basics but for advanced set-ups and needs we encourage groups to bring their own. We have a soundboards available for Auditorium, Fireside, and Common Room. If you have a tech who is comfortable and knowledgeable with our auditorium board (Behringer x32) you may program it to your needs. However, the tech must not program over the GBCC base mix as this might incur a fee as we will require a service call.
